You'll be amazed just how many famous names have written their works in Hastings. Patrons of Hastings Writers Group down the years have included founder member Catherine Cookson, world-renowned fantasy writer David Gemmell, and now the popular saga-writer Tamara McKinley, and the tradition goes on. The authors at present working in and around Hastings are many and various. During the Coastal Currents Festival the Jenny Lind will be hosting a series of readings, signings and meet-the-author events. All events and workshops are free, and all comers welcome.
