Closing May 2009

Poems may be in any style and on any topic.
The competition is open to anyone over 16.
Closing date May 31st 2009. Winners will be notified by July 2009.
Entry fee £3 UK per poem or up to six poems for £12. Payment in pounds sterling. Postal orders, or cheques payable to Kay Green, or the use Paypal buttons below.
Poems must be the work of the entrant, previously unpublished, and not simultaneously entered for other competitions.
Length: Up to 40 lines.
Each entry must be marked Web Poetry and have the title(s) of poem(s), author’s name, address, and/or telephone number/email address.
Judges’ decision is final. No discussion will be entered into.
Copyright remains with the author although Earlyworks Press reserves the right to publish winning entries on the website. Authors of the top ten poems may be offered anthology publication later in the year.
Submission of work will be taken as acceptance of rules and conditions.
Paper entries are not returnable. Entries cannot be acknowledged without an SAE marked for that purpose.
